GOOD NEWS FOR MANCHESTER UNITED! Players on injury resumes training with the team

Manchester United XI vs Copenhagen: Confirmed team news, injury latest ahead of Champions League match.

Erik ten Hag's fitness crisis is starting to ease ahead of Group A clash at Old Trafford

Manchester United should have Sergio Reguilon back for tonight's Champions League meeting with FC Copenhagen.

Tottenham loanee Reguilon had been out with a hamstring injury for a month but resumed team training last week. With fellow left-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia out for the foreseeable future, Victor Lindelof has deputised instead.

United boss Erik ten Hag told reporters at his pre-match press conference on Monday: "Sergio was fit [on Friday], trained all last week and yesterday he was part of training and today he will train and we have to assess if he is ready and game fit and can be involved in the squad.

"We have to see if he is fit enough to be available."

Tonight's match will see Rasmus Hojlund come up against a former team in FC Copenhagen, and Ten Hag backed the United striker to add to the two goals he scored in a hectic Champions League loss to Galatasaray earlier this month.

"He's always playing in scoring positions in our team and I'm confident [he will score goals], as well for Marcus Rashford the same," Ten Hag said.

"In every game when we do what we have to do as a team we always get in scoring positions and then it's about finishing. When you analyse all the games so far we have seen it."
